Opal HealthCare Kawana Waters Care Community is seeking an experienced Wellbeing Manager to lead engaging wellbeing programs for residents. You’ll work with the Care Community leadership team to enhance social, emotional, cognitive and physical wellbeing, helping residents live with purpose, connection and joy every day.

In this permanent full‑time role you’ll mentor wellbeing and care staff, partner with families and clinicians, plan events and assessments, monitor outcomes and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Allied Health, Leisure & Lifestyle, or related field.
• Leadership experience coaching and mentoring teams.
• Experience delivering wellbeing programs, lifestyle activities, events, or community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Meaningful Life program and create engaging activities, events, and experiences for residents.
• Develop wellbeing programs reflecting residents' interests, cultures, and preferences.
• Mentor and support wellbeing and care team members to deliver meaningful engagement.
• Partner with residents, families, clinicians, volunteers, and allied health professionals to enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate social events, community engagement initiatives, and bus outings.
• Complete wellbeing assessments and develop individual engagement plans for residents.
• Monitor participation, evaluate program outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a positive culture that supports resident choice, independence, dignity and belonging.
