Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Wellbeing Manager to lead meaningful engagement and wellbeing programs for residents. You’ll work with the Care Community leadership team to create social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive and physical wellbeing opportunities that help residents live with purpose and joy.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience coaching and mentoring teams.
• Experience delivering wellbeing programs or community engagement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management abilities.
• Aged care experience is highly regarded.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• Lead the Meaningful Life program and create engaging activities and experiences for residents.
• Develop wellbeing programs reflecting residents' interests and backgrounds.
• Lead and mentor wellbeing and care team members to deliver engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with residents, families, clinicians, volunteers and allied health professionals to enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate social events, community engagement initiatives and bus outings.
• Complete wellbeing assessments and develop individual engagement plans for residents.
• Monitor participation, evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a positive culture that supports resident choice, independence, dignity and belonging.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Allied Health, Leisure & Lifestyle, or a related field
• Previous leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams
• Experience delivering wellbeing programs, lifestyle activities, events, or community engagement initiatives
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities
• Passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of older people
• Aged care experience highly regarded
