Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Caloundra is seeking a creative and compassionate Wellbeing Manager to lead our Meaningful Life program and enrich resident lives at Caloundra PlaceCare Community. You will design and oversee engaging events across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing, coach care teams, and collaborate with clinical staff to support mobility, independence, and quality of life.

This permanent full-time role offers a stable day schedule, supportive leadership, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing or similar role (aged care highly regarded).
• Strong creativity, organisation and communication skills.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to coach and support a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse program of events and activities to support physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.
• Develop personalised engagement plans for residents based on background and preferences.
• Coach and mentor care team to deliver meaningful daily interactions.
• Collaborate with clinical and allied health teams to support mobility, independence and quality of life.
• Drive a vibrant community culture where every resident can thrive.

What You'll Do:

Lead a diverse and engaging program of events and activities that support physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.

Develop personalised engagement plans for residents, celebrating their unique backgrounds, preferences, and passions.

Coach and mentor our care team to deliver meaningful, daily interactions with residents.

Work closely with clinical and allied health teams to support resident mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

What You'll Need:

A passion for enriching the lives of others and creating joyful experiences.

Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).

Excellent creativity, organisation, and communication skills.

Leadership experience or a strong desire to coach and support a team.

A relevant qualification in health, aged care, community services, or leisure & lifestyle is desirable.
