Job summary

Mercy Place Mount St Joseph's (Young) is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to join an experienced team and help plan and implement wellbeing activities for residents. You will assist with the delivery of recreational and social programs and support the Lifestyle Coordinator with onboarding new team members.

You will work with residents according to lifestyle plans, document progress, ensure accreditation standards, and encourage community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering recreational activities for older adults is preferred.
• Ability to plan and document resident wellbeing progress.
• Flexible and compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of recreational and social programs that enhance residents’ wellbeing.
• Support the Lifestyle Coordinator with program planning and orientation of new team members.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and encourage community involvement.
