Job summary

Novotel Perth Murray Street, part of the Accor Group, invites an experienced Reservations Agent to join our team 24 hours per week. This role is often the first point of contact, handling individual and group bookings and ensuring a smooth start to guests’ stays.

You will manage room blocks, rate codes, and loyalty program queries, while guiding the Reservations team. We value service, detail, and energetic hospitality professionals committed to superior guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience with OPERA property management system or similar.
• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Groups is advantageous.
• Service oriented with an eye for detail.
• Confident & articulate communication, relationship & networking skills.
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with drive, ambition & high level of energy.
• Passion for hospitality.
• Experience in the Hotel Industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound FIT reservations and group bookings from inquiry to conversion and on-site coordination.
• Maintain fluency with Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program.
• Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and rate codes.
• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations across channels.
• Identify guest needs and select appropriate room type.
• Explain guarantee, rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Set up billing accounts per Finance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues or escalate as needed.

Job Description

ALL about the role:

Role

Often the first point of guest contact, your main role is assisting and completing individual and group reservations for our guests – ensuring a smooth start to their stay with us and leading our Reservations team as well as:

• Meeting the needs of inbound FIT reservations and groups from the taking of the inquiry, conversion of the business, assisting with organization of the group, through to ensuring successful on‑site coordination of the group
• Maintain fluency with the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
• Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and rate codes
• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations with different channels
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
• Accommodate and document special requests
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
• Respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requestsSet‑up proper billing accounts according to Finance policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues or elevate/refer to appropriate department
