Job summary

Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a friendly Reservations Agent to join our team. This on-site, office-based role supports guest planning from first contact to final booking, handling inquiries by phone and email and coordinating changes with speed and care.

You’ll work three days per week (up to five during peak periods) across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays. Prior reservations or travel industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, tourism or travel (min 12 months).
• Familiar with Newbook or able to learn quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Based on the Gold Coast and available to work onsite during rostered hours.

Position: Reservations Agent
Location: Gold Coast Airport (General Aviation Area) - Office Based Role

Join our team and work for Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, one of Australia’s most iconic eco-tourism destinations. We’re growing and looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Agents to join our team at our Gold Coast Hanger!

Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort is seeking a Reservations Agent who will work three days per week, with the ability and flexibility to work up to five days per week as business demands require, including covering staff leave, peak periods and other operational needs.

As a Reservations Agent, you’ll be the friendly voice (and email) behind unforgettable island experiences. From the first call to final confirmation, you’ll help guests plan their perfect holiday to Lady Elliot Island.

Responsibilities:

• Managing reservations and guest enquiries by phone and email
• Using our booking system (Newbook experience a big plus!)
• Delivering top tier customer service that leaves guests excited for their trip
• Coordinating changes, cancellations and last minute updates with ease
• Supporting the day-to-day admin flow in a busy, vibrant office

Who You Are:

• A superstar communicator with a friendly and professional attitude
• Experienced in reservations, tourism or travel (minimum 12 months preferred)
• Familiar with Newbook or ability to learn quickly
• A multitasker with serious attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems
• Adaptable, proactive and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Based on the Gold Coast and available to work onsite during rostered hours
• Shifts between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm
• Three days per week, with the ability and flexibility to work up to five days per week as business demands require
• Shifts includes weekends and public holidays as part of a 7-day rotating roster. We are operational everyday besides Christmas!
