Job summary

Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a friendly Reservations Agent to join our team. This on-site, office-based role supports guest planning from first contact to final booking, handling inquiries by phone and email and coordinating changes with speed and care.

You’ll work three days per week (up to five during peak periods) across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays. Prior reservations or travel industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, tourism or travel (min 12 months).
• Familiar with Newbook or able to learn quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Based on the Gold Coast and available to work onsite during rostered hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations and guest enquiries by phone and email
• Use booking system (Newbook is a plus)
• Deliver top-tier customer service and ensure guest excitement
• Coordinate changes, cancellations and last minute updates
• Support day-to-day admin flow in a busy office
