Job summary

Roamfree Hotels is seeking a confident and customer-focused Casual Weekend Reservations Agent to join our Central Reservations team, supporting properties including Q1 Resort & Spa, Rhapsody Resort and Amaya Broadbeach.

This role is ideal for someone with previous hotel reservations, front office or accommodation experience and who is comfortable working independently and turning guest enquiries into bookings. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reservations or front office experience preferred.

Are you an experienced hotel reservations professional looking for regular weekend work?

Roamfree Hotels is seeking a confident and customer-focused Casual Weekend Reservations Agent to join our Central Reservations team, supporting our portfolio of properties including the iconic Q1 Resort & Spa, Rhapsody Resort and Amaya Broadbeach.

This role is ideally suited to someone with previous hotel reservations, front office or accommodation experience and who is comfortable working independently and enjoys turning guest enquiries into bookings.

About the Role

Working as part of our Central Reservations team, you will assist guests across

phone, email and online channels while supporting the day-to-day reservations

requirements of our properties.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling inbound reservation enquiries via phone and email

Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings

Managing and updating existing reservations

Responding to OTA guest messages and booking requests

Processing payments and following established payment procedures

Assisting with amendments, cancellations and general booking enquiries

Accurately maintaining guest and reservation information in our PMS

Liaising with Front Office and other hotel departments when required

Completing daily reservations administration and operational tasks

Delivering warm, professional and efficient service throughout the guest journey

Who We’re Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous hotel reservations or front office experience and understand the importance of accuracy, urgency and great guest service.

You will ideally have:

Previous reservations, hotel or accommodation experience

Experience using a hotel PMS; CMS experience would be highly regarded

Familiarity with OTAs such as Booking.com, Expedia and Agoda

Strong telephone and written communication skills

Confidence handling guest enquiries and converting opportunities into bookings

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to prioritise phones, inboxes and administrative tasks

A proactive approach and willingness to learn

The confidence to work independently once fully trained

Most importantly, you will be someone who is reliable, positive, commercially aware and genuinely enjoys helping guests.

Availability

This is a casual position, primarily providing weekend coverage, therefore regular Saturday and Sunday availability is essential.

Successful candidates will initially be required to undertake training alongside our established Central Reservations team before transitioning into weekend shifts.

Some weekday availability during the initial training period would therefore be advantageous.
