Job summary

Village Roadshow, at Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast, is seeking a Reservations Agent to manage guest bookings and deliver personalised service. You will engage with guests, agents, and groups to ensure a memorable stay, while supporting front desk operations and coordinating with tour operators.

The role requires experience in front office or reservations, a focus on revenue, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office Reception or Reservations.
• Ability to maximize room revenue.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and TravelClick is a bonus.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and school breaks.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations inbox from third party agents with accuracy.
• Answer questions and fulfill special requests to personalise stays.
• Coordinate group and VIP bookings with operators.
• Support front desk during check in and check out processes.
• Liaise with travel agents and handle last minute requests.

What You'll Be Up To:

• Master of Reservations: Keep our reservations inbox in shipshape and smoothly handle bookings from third-party agents, with an eye for detail and a heart for service.
• Create Personalised Magic: You'll work directly with our guests, answering questions and fulfilling special requests to make their stay unique and unforgettable.
• Group & VIP Coordinator: Work with tour operators and conference delegates, ensuring group bookings are as fun and easy as a water slide ride!
• Smooth Check-In Support: Partner with our Front Office Team to make sure every check-in and check-out is seamless. Think of yourself as the first wave of excitement in our guests' stay!
• Travel Agent Hero: Be the go-to contact for travel agents and handle last‑minute booking requests like a pro.

What You’ll Bring:
