The Kids Research Institute Australia in Perth is seeking a Research Support Officer to provide high-level project coordination and administrative support to the Strep A Translation team. Group A Streptococcus (Strep A) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) research at The Kids is built around a focus on Indigenous leadership and collaboration, privileging the voices of those with lived experience of these diseases. We aim to understand the epidemiology of Strep A infections in Australia and the world, and explore the implementation of endgame recommendations, health economics and new horizons.
As our team continues to grow, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Research Support Officer to provide high-level project coordination and administrative support to the Strep A Translation team.
Working closely with one of the Team Leads and the Program Manager, this role will support the planning, coordination and delivery of program activities, while also providing proactive executive and diary management support. The position will contribute to effective governance, stakeholder engagement, financial administration and operational efficiency across the program.
Based in our offices within Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands, this full-time role will be offered for an initial 2-year period.
