Job summary

The Kids Research Institute Australia is seeking a Partnerships & Grants Coordinator to strengthen and grow philanthropic funding, manage grant administration and reporting, and develop funding partnerships. Working with researchers and stakeholders, you will coordinate funding applications, maintain pipelines, and deliver exceptional supporter stewardship to advance life-changing research for children and families.

The role is based in Nedlands, full-time, with flexible and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Experience in administrative, coordination or donor-focused roles within not-for-profit environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, grants administration, or related sectors is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate philanthropic funding applications, submissions and reporting deadlines.
  • Support grant administration, stewardship activities and donor communications.
  • Conduct prospect research and identify new funding opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting and dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Build strong relationships with researchers, funders and internal stakeholders.
  • Support donor meetings, events and engagement activities.

The Opportunity

As the new Partnerships &Grants Coordinator, you will play an important role in strengthening andgrowing the Institute's philanthropic funding capability. This newly createdposition reflects the opportunity to expand philanthropic investment in TheKids and ensure the effective management of grants and funding partnerships.

Working closely with researchersand stakeholders across the organisation, you will coordinate fundingapplications, manage grant administration and reporting, maintain fundingpipelines, and help deliver exceptional supporter stewardship experiences. Yourwork will directly contribute to securing the resources needed to advancelife-changing research for children and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinatingphilanthropic funding applications, submissions and reporting deadlines.

Based at our offices in Nedlands, this is a full-time, ongoingopportunity.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 (depending onexperience) + Super.

AboutYou

You are anorganised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating multipleprojects and working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You willbring:

  • Relevant qualifications inMarketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalentexperience
  • Experience in anadministrative, coordination or customer-focused role, ideally within anot-for-profit environment.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to managecompeting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using CRMsystems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong relationship-buildingskills and a commitment to delivering exceptional stakeholder experiences.
  • Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, grants administration, or the health, research, education or not-for-profit sectors will be highly regarded, along with a genuine interest in supporting research that improves the lives of children and families.
