Job summary

The Kids Research Institute Australia in Nedlands, WA is seeking a Partnerships & Grants Coordinator to grow philanthropic funding and manage grants and partnerships.

You will coordinate applications, reporting, donor communications, and maintain Salesforce dashboards, while building strong stakeholder relationships across researchers and funders.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in an administrative, coordination or customer-focused role, ideally within a not-for-profit environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional stakeholder experiences.
• Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, grants administration, or the health, research, education or not-for-profit sectors will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

As the new Partnerships & Grants Coordinator, you will play an important role in strengthening and growing the Institute's philanthropic funding capability. This newly created position reflects the opportunity to expand philanthropic investment in The Kids and ensure the effective management of grants and funding partnerships.

Working closely with researchers and stakeholders across the organisation, you will coordinate funding applications, manage grant administration and reporting, maintain funding pipelines, and help deliver exceptional supporter stewardship experiences. Your work will directly contribute to securing the resources needed to advance life-changing research for children and families.

Key responsibilities include:

Based at our offices in Nedlands, this is a full-time, ongoing opportunity.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience) + Super.

About You

You are an organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating multiple projects and working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You will bring:

• Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in an administrative, coordination or customer-focused role, ideally within a not-for-profit environment.
