Job summary

Queensland Forklifts is seeking a talented Rental Sales Administrator to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This full-time role supports the growth of our rental and sales operations, acting as the backbone of administration and coordinating between customers, the Rental team and operations.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, manage rental enquiries, contracts, bookings and invoicing, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales administration, customer service or sales coordinator role in equipment rental or similar
• Strong organisational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, and experience with CRM or rental management software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation and financial processing
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to high-quality service
• Problem-solving abilities and initiative to improve processes
• Reliable, able to work independently while collaborating with colleagues
• A valid driver’s licence would be advantageous
• Experience in equipment rental, forklift or materials handling is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Processing rental enquiries and quotes promptly and accurately
• Coordinating rental agreements and contracts with complete documentation
• Managing rental bookings and schedules with operations on equipment availability
• Coordinating transport for local and interstate movements; issuing POs and approving invoices for payment
• Maintaining client databases, updating records and generating reports on rental activity
• Handling customer communications regarding terms, pricing, delivery schedules and amendments
• Processing invoices and managing rental billing
• Resolving customer queries professionally and escalating complex issues as needed
• Assisting in sales reports and performance metrics
• Contributing to continuous improvement of rental processes and systems
