Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a System Administrator I based in Australia to provide high-quality IT support in a remote-first environment. You will troubleshoot Windows/macOS, manage server infrastructure (Windows Server 2016–2025), and administer Microsoft 365/Entra ID/Azure with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) skills.

You’ll support Sage ERP and QuickBooks, reinforce security, handle basic networking, and assist other technicians.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional IT experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Windows Server administration experience across 2016–2025 and related tasks.
• Virtualization experience with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Azure and Entra ID / Active Directory knowledge.
• Networking fundamentals and security awareness.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Availability for full-time (40 hours/week) and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS workstations.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016–2025).
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and AD services.
• Support virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Assist with Sage ERP and QuickBooks issues with vendors as needed.
• Troubleshoot networking, firewalls, switches, and connectivity.
• Protect systems with endpoint security tools and backups.
• Serve as escalation point for technicians and mentor teammates.
• Maintain professional client communications and service quality.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
