Job summary

Outback Stores is seeking passionate Single and Management Couples to join our Relief/ Permanent Management Team across remote locations in Australia. You will oversee all aspects of store operations, lead diverse teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service and community engagement.

You will work in a collaborative, culturally respectful environment, supporting health and wellbeing in local communities and contributing to the store's

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in retail or FMCG within a supermarket environment.
• Proven experience in mentoring, training, and leading diverse teams.
• Budget management, rostering, inventory and expense controls.
• Cultural awareness and the ability to collaborate across cultures.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Working rights to work unrestricted in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations including sales, stock control and staff supervision.
• Provide effective leadership and mentoring to in-store teams.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards, WHS, and company policies.
• Maintain excellent store presentation and high levels of customer service.
• Support with staff training initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with community stakeholders and team members.
