Kingside, a lean team backing fast-growing platforms in crypto, sports, and iGaming, seeks a Social Media Associate in Melbourne. Work with the Social Media Manager to grow brands online, identify opportunities, and produce engaging posts across X, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

Bring a keen eye for internet culture, strong copywriting, and the ability to turn trends into compelling social content. Be proactive, organized, and collaborative; remote candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media or content creation is advantageous but not required.
• Strong understanding of internet culture, trends, and what makes content engaging.
• Creativity to turn trends and cultural moments into social content.
• Ability to create and edit social-first content and brief others to execute ideas.
• Strong copywriting skills with appropriate tone of voice across platforms.
• Proactive and organized with ownership mindset.
• Good platform knowledge across X/TikTok/Instagram/Facebook.
• Strong collaboration and communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: post and engage across X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook.
• Content Creation: assist filming, editing, and repurposing content.
• Creative Direction: brief creators and designers to realise ideas.
• Content Sourcing: identify trends, memes and cultural moments.
• Platform Ownership: plan, post, and grow social pages.
• Campaign Support: create content for partnerships, promos and launches.
• Community Engagement: monitor conversations and replies for opportunities.
• Performance: track metrics and use insights to improve future content.
