Job summary

CrowdStrike Australia is seeking a diligent Engineer III for NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform. The role focuses on keeping LoadScale cells healthy, scalable, and self-healing through automation and monitoring. Remote-first with team members in Sydney and across regions.

You will contribute to incident response, upgrades, and capacity planning while collaborating with distributed teams to stop breaches and deliver reliable security data processing at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (Go, Python, Java) for automation.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or OCI) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document runbooks and incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices with ring-based rollout strategies.
• Develop monitoring dashboards and SLIs/SLOs for rapid troubleshooting.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self-healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and support to resolve production issues.
• Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and handle capacity planning.
