Job summary
CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform to ensure health, performance and reliability of our largest SIEM platform. This role is based in Australia and remote, with team members in Sydney.
You will write Go microservices and automation scripts to streamline operations and enable self-healing capabilities. You'll collaborate across product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues, implement monitoring, SLIs/SLOs, and dashboards,
Qualifications
- 3+ years in site reliability, platform engineering, or infra operations.
- Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Go, Python or Java for automation.
- Experience with cloud infra (AWS/GCP/OCI) and IaC tools.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health, performance and reliability of LogScale cells.
- Upgrade clusters and deploy patches using ring-based rollouts.
- Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil.
- Collaborate with product engineering and customer support on production issues.
- Develop runbooks, incident reports and post-mortem summaries.
