Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer to ensure health, performance, and reliability of the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform, building automation for self-healing and scalable operations. The role emphasizes incident response, on-call rotations, and collaboration across time zones in a fully remote setup based in Australia.

You will work with Go microservices, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring systems while participating in a mission-driven team delivering AI-powered cybersecurity

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with capacity planning, resource optimization, and scaling operations for large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, or similar) for automation.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI, or GCP) including compute, storage, networking, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident reports and cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Ability to balance operational stability with feature delivery needs.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of Cloud & Data Infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations with team support.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices, deploy patches, and recover from failures.
• Build monitoring with defined SLIs, dashboards, and alerting.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self-healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
