Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform based in Australia with a fully remote setup. You will maintain health and scale of the LogScale cells, write Go microservices, and develop automated workflows as part of a high-ownership distributed team.

You will participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations, upgrades, capacity planning, and incident response while collaborating across time zones to stop breaches and protect customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java for automation scripts and microservices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents with on-call rotations.
• Upgrade LogScale clusters and microservices using ring-based rollout strategies and recover cells when failures occur.
• Contribute to monitoring with SLIs, alerts, dashboards, and synthetic tests for rapid troubleshooting.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self-healing at scale.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Grow through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and tackling large-scale distributed systems challenges.
