Job summary

Peoplebank is partnering with a leading Australian utilities provider to appoint a Senior Project Manager / Programme Lead. You will run a feasibility assessment of the current customer billing platform and supporting operating model/vendor arrangement, to determine whether change is required and identify the best path forward.

Location is open to QLD, VIC, NSW or ACT with flexible/remote arrangements considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Utilities sector (water/energy).
• Senior project/program leadership on feasibility and options engagements.
• Hands-on exposure to customer billing / CIS / revenue / payments platforms.
• Strong commercial & analytical capability: TCO modelling, cost/benefit, risk analysis, options comparison.
• Ability to produce executive/board-level business cases, recommendations and papers.
• Stakeholder management across Technology, Finance, Customer, Operations and Procurement.
• Vendor/partner engagement.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility assessment of the current customer billing platform and operating model.
• Quantify risk and total cost of ownership; compare future options.
• Produce board-ready recommendations to determine if a change is required and the best path forward.
