Job summary

Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to provide expert guidance on WHS, rehabilitation, performance management and employee conduct. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and support a wide range of HR matters across the agency.

The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities to influence employee experience, with occasional interstate travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Baseline security clearance is required.
• Australian citizenship is required for eligibility.
• Proven experience in HR case management and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Manage straightforward and complex HR cases across the Performance Wellbeing & Integrity portfolio with impartial advice and robust records.
• Develop and implement early intervention strategies and apply relevant policies and legislation.
• Provide timely, risk-aware advice on APS employment legislation and conditions, escalating high-risk matters.
• Contribute to policy development and guidance materials for case management, WHS and performance management.
• Support WHS obligations through incident management, risk assessments and Employee Assistance Program delivery.
• Help implement health, safety and wellbeing initiatives under EL1 direction with user-centred approaches.
• Identify opportunities to improve P&C services and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage or contribute to HR projects with agile, stakeholder coordination and practical outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality briefings and cross-functional reports for senior leaders.
