Job summary

Industry Pathways Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a remote, inbound Course Advisor team and drive enrolments.

You'll report to the Director of Growth, coach and develop people, implement remote leadership protocols, and align sales activities with broader growth objectives across the organisation.

Beyond hitting targets, you will shape culture, optimize the customer journey and ensure an outstanding student experience while balancing accountability and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Experience managing remote teams, including maintaining engagement, visibility and performance.
• Strong experience in a B2C telephone-based inbound sales environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance through coaching and actionable feedback.
• Experience managing KPIs, conversion metrics and sales reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate performance data into practical actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
• Balance people leadership with a strong focus on results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Course Advisors to achieve sales and enrolment targets.
• Establish remote leadership protocols, including regular 1-1s, team meetings and coaching conversations.
• Coach Course Advisors to manage inbound telephone enquiries confidently, follow established sales scripts and processes, understand prospective student needs and convert enquiries into enrolments.
• Monitor key sales metrics and analyse data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Optimise sales processes, systems and CRM utilisation to improve efficiency and results.
• Enhance the customer journey to ensure prospective students receive an outstanding experience.
• Collaborate with leaders across the organisation to align sales strategies with broader growth objectives.
• Identify and implement initiatives that improve performance, scalability and long-term sustainability.
