Australian Department of Defence – Harman ACT seeks an APS 5 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to manage warehouse custody, storage, handling and movement of ICT assets. You will support operational, exercise and business activities with asset management and governance compliance.

The role collaborates with ICT Asset Management and Configuration Management functions to ensure readiness and availability of assets. Flexible hours and potential for home-based or remote work are available.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Strong organisational and record management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Experience using Defence ICT Asset Management systems.
• Experience with Configuration Management processes and systems.
• Familiarity with ICT hardware and peripheral equipment.
• Knowledge of Security Principles Framework, PSPF and ISM.
• Test and Tag competency.
• Experience supporting operational logistics activities.

Aufgaben

• Manage physical custody, storage, handling and movement of assets in warehouse environments.
• Provide warehouse management, inventory control and logistics support.
• Ensure compliance with Defence security, asset management and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with J7 and other stakeholders to support readiness and availability of assets.
• Report non-compliances under Defence Security Principles Framework.
