Job summary

The Department of Defence in Canberra is seeking an APS 6 Integrated Product Support Officer to lead the SHFC ILS team in the absence of the manager and to provide essential ILS support across the Defence High Frequency Communication System (DHFCS).

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated logistics experience, knowledge of policy, and the ability to apply procedures across supply, maintenance and training domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics management and applying Defence logistics policy.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SHFC ILS Manager during incumbents' absences.
• Manage Acquisition ILS team members and workload including disposals, loans, stocktaking and fuels.
• Provide feedback and assist with review of all ILS related contract deliverables as directed by the SHFC ILS Manager.
• Provide logistic advice in support of JP9101PH1 ILS Team, as directed by the SHFC ILS Manager.
