Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a proactive Community Engagement Adviser to help deliver community investment, employee engagement and inclusion initiatives. You will work with regional operations to identify local needs, build community partnerships and coordinate grants, donations and events.

The role also supports employee engagement and storytelling across channels, with a focus on practical program delivery and relationship building across locations.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Community Development, Events or a related discipline.
• Experience in community engagement, communications, events, partnerships, sponsorships, grants administration or a related role.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to take ownership of activities from start to finish while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to develop clear, engaging content for different audiences and channels.
• The confidence and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders across different roles, locations and levels of an organisation.
• Experience coordinating projects, programs or events involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and track activities and outcomes.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Excel.
• An interest in community investment, social impact, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement.
• A positive, practical and solutions‑focused approach. You look for what can be done, take initiative and help make it happen.

Responsibilities

• Community engagement: Build strong community connections with regional operations and identify opportunities to contribute.
• Community investment: Coordinate partnerships, grants, sponsorships and donations, including approvals, administration and reporting.
• Employee engagement and inclusion: Support initiatives that strengthen connection across the business.
• Communications and storytelling: Develop content sharing community and employee stories and program outcomes.
• Events and activations: Plan and deliver community and employee events with stakeholders and partners.
• Stakeholder relationships: Build positive relationships with employees, operations teams and community organisations.
• Program coordination and reporting: Maintain records, coordinate approvals and prepare updates and reports.
• Continuous improvement: Propose practical program improvements and new ideas.
