Job summary

Firmus Technologies in Sydney is seeking a Community Engagement Advisor to plan, implement and report on community engagement across our Australian development portfolio. You will manage enquiries, identify risks, coordinate forums and communications, and work with internal teams to ensure social licence and trust.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in community engagement, strong stakeholder relations, and excellent communication skills. Hybrid role with 4 days in office and 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in community engagement or related fields.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; clear messaging.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and report on community engagement activities.
• Manage community enquiries and complaints with timely resolution.
• Identify engagement risks and opportunities for project outcomes.
• Coordinate forums, meetings and communications across phases.
• Support project notifications and stakeholder communications.
• Represent community interests with internal teams; foster trust.
• Champion best-practice engagement throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to a collaborative, agile team environment.
