Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join a team focused on first-party alarming and telemetry services. You will strengthen your C#/.NET and SQL skills while troubleshooting and improving runbooks to keep critical systems reliable at scale.

The role involves Tier 3 production support for telemetry pipelines, SQL Server administration, and maintaining C#/.NET applications and APIs. A strong emphasis on documentation and on-call readiness is required.

Qualifications

• SQL experience is required.
• C# experience is required.
• .NET experience is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as IIS, SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, SQL clustering, Active Directory, and Outlook.
• Strong Windows operating system knowledge and experience supporting production incidents, including communication across engineering and operations teams and participation in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Tier 3 production support for first-party industrial control, telemetry, credential management, and datacenter operations solutions.
• Restore services and troubleshoot issues across application, connectivity, alarming, authentication, configuration, networking, deployment, upgrades, and dependencies.
• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, high availability/disaster recovery, backup and recovery, and database security.
• Maintain and troubleshoot C#/.NET applications, services, APIs, integrations, T-SQL objects, data models, and reporting tools.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, deployment checklists, operating procedures, and known-issue records to support consistent service recovery.
