Employment Hero is seeking an Accountant to drive day-to-day financial activities and maintain compliance. You will work with the Finance Manager and other accountants on reconciliations, journals, intercompany and FX transactions in a fast-growth, remote-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a similar role, a relevant degree, and wants to pursue CA/CPA. NetSuite experience is a plus, and the role offers a generous home-office budget and modern tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a similar accounting role.
• CA/CPA qualification in progress or looking to start.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
• Hungry, creative, enthusiastic, and data-driven with a diverse skill set.
• Thrives in fast-growth and ambiguous environments.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Analytical skills to interpret and present accurate financial data.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of daily bank accounts across all global entities.
• Reconciliation of company credit cards and spend management platforms.
• Supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
• Preparing journal entries including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, intercompany transactions.
• Ownership of the Fixed Assets Register.
• Completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations and resolving issues.
• Assist in external audits.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and process improvements.
• Conduct reconciliation and variance analysis of Company spends.
