Job summary

Employment Hero is a fast-growing SaaS unicorn with a remote-first culture. We seek an accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, journals, and accruals, working closely with the Finance Manager across global entities.

You’ll contribute to intercompany and FX transactions, with a focus on rapid pace and commercial thinking. The role requires a recent accounting degree, 1+ year experience, and CA/CPA-ongoing or starting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a similar role.
• Currently studying CA/CPA or planning to start.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bank accounts for global entities.
• Reconcile company credit cards and spend platforms.
• Support Accounts Receivable/Payable processes.
• Prepare journals including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, intercompany.
• Own Fixed Assets Register and month-end reconciliations.
• Assist external audits and improve accounting processes.
• Analyse variances in Company Spends.
