Job summary

The Future Generation Joint Venture is seeking an EM Construction Electrical Supervisor to oversee on-site electrical installation activities for Snowy 2.0 in NSW. You will coordinate between electromechanical teams and civil works to ensure safe, timely and quality delivery.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of on-site electrical experience, strong knowledge of installation, testing and commissioning, and proven project management and leadership abilities for large-scale construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical installation on-site.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes and standards.
• Strong project management capabilities with deadlines.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in construction.
• Physically capable of working on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Support EM Engineers and Civil Construction Managers in operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in site activities.
• Collaborate with surveyors to collect quantities and measurements.
• Maintain accurate field notes and documentation.
• Communicate with EM Site Engineers and subcontractor staff.
• Ensure crews comply with FGJV safety guidelines and records.
• Participate in safety and progress review meetings.
• Supervise interfaces between FGJV teams and subcontractors.
