Job summary

JoVE is seeking sales professionals to drive adoption of science video solutions at universities and colleges. You will own the complete sales cycle, craft territory plans, and conduct daily outreach to build opportunities while presenting to researchers and faculty in a remote-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sales, preferably in EdTech or SaaS, with strong communication, negotiation, and CRM experience (Salesforce/HubSpot).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech, STEM publishing or SaaS.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in person and online.
• Experience with Salesforce and platforms such as HubSpot.
• Self-motivated, initiative, results-oriented and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close. Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Craft your territory sales plan and execute on that plan.
• Conduct daily outreach to build new business opportunities and to maintain existing book of business.
• Present the product, online and in-person, to researchers, teaching faculty and academic librarians.
• Analyze trends and make data driven decisions on priorities in your work.
• Work effectively with other team members to deliver on sales targets, team projects and campaigns.
• Attend tradeshows and participate in other marketing activities.
