Job summary

PeopleInFocus is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator for international logistics, managing two key clients from booking through to delivery and billing. This mostly remote role requires you to attend meetings in the Sydney CBD.

You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, prepare shipping documents, resolve queries and support invoicing while building strong client relationships with cross‑border teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain operations.
• Strong customer service and operations coordination background.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CargoWise experience highly regarded.
• Ability to work independently from home and collaborate across international teams.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries, shipment bookings, tracking updates, delivery requirements and billing queries.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and proactive follow-up.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with operations teams and service providers.
• Prepare and check shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements and client protocols.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve service disruptions and keep customers updated.
• Use CargoWise and internal shipping systems to maintain accurate shipment records.
• Ensure shipment charges are captured correctly, support timely invoicing and resolve discrepancies with the accounts team.
• Help improve operational processes and standard operating procedures.
• Work with the commercial team to identify opportunities to support account growth.
