Job summary

HumanAbility is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the creation and delivery of communications about our work. You’ll craft clear content for our website, newsletters, events and social media, working with contractors as needed and partnering with the Senior Communications Advisor.

You’ll translate technical content into plain English, ensure accessibility for diverse audiences, and collaborate across teams to align communications across programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a not-for-profit or government communications team is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical content into plain English for diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan and create content for digital channels and newsletters.
• Translate complex technical policy content into plain English for target audiences.
• Draft communication materials with clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ensure content is accessible for diverse audiences including stakeholders and the public.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to deliver communications.
