Job summary

Maddington Centurion Group seeks a reliable Camp Chef (Utility) to support regional campsites. This hands-on role covers meal prep, kitchen hygiene, and camp duties while guiding other general hands. Suitable for a CDP or Commis Chef seeking FIFO/DIDO work.

You will prepare meals, assist with camp services, manage food safety, and support staff across sites. A pre-employment medical is required, and candidates must have Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
• FIFO or DIDO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with approved menus and dietary requirements.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with cleaning, food service, and general camp duties as required.
• Provide leadership and support to general hands.
• Perform relief duties and assist across camp services.
• Drive staff and transport products between sites as required.
• Oversee staff and guest accommodation standards.
• Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
