Job summary

Teradata is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to act as the regional AI specialist for Asia Pacific and Japan, driving enterprise AI opportunities through demonstrations, workshops, PoCs, and architectural guidance. You will partner with Enterprise and Growth sales teams across APJ, supporting strategic opportunities where AI is a primary evaluation criterion.

Reporting to the APJ CSA Lead, you will build reusable assets, influence roadmaps, and advance AI adoption across Australia, Japan, ASEAN,

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering, data engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
Hands-on experience building and presenting AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, vector search, and AI orchestration.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with ability to develop and demo live solutions in customer environments.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design to delivery and business outcomes.
Deliver compelling demonstrations, technical workshops, and architectural guidance for APJ opportunities.
Collaborate with Enterprise and Growth sales teams across APJ to drive AI opportunities and build reusable assets.
