Job summary

Teradata is seeking an AI Sales Engineer for the APJ region, supporting Australia, Japan, ASEAN, and more. You will drive demonstrations, workshops, and POCs to showcase enterprise AI value.

Collaboration across sales teams and product groups will be essential to build scalable AI capabilities for customers. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in presales or related roles, hands-on AI experience with LLMs, RAG, and vector tech, and strong Python/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering, data engineering, or related customer-facing tech roles.
• Led enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design through delivery and business outcomes.
• Hands-on AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, vector search, and AI workflow orchestration.
• Strong Python and SQL; ability to develop, customize, and present live demos in customer environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Help customers realize enterprise AI value through demos, workshops, POCs, and architectural guidance.
• Collaborate with Enterprise and Growth sales teams across APJ to support AI-driven opportunities.
• Build reusable assets and best practices to raise the tech capabilities of the presales org.
• Become trusted AI advisor for customers and field teams; accelerate AI adoption and enable outcomes.
