Job summary

Teradata is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to serve as the regional AI specialist for Asia Pacific and Japan. You will drive demonstrations, technical workshops, proof-of-concept engagements, and architectural guidance to help customers realize the value of enterprise AI.

This role partners with Enterprise and Growth sales teams across APJ, supporting opportunities where AI is a primary criterion. You will build reusable assets and best practices to elevate the technical capabilities of the

Qualifications

• 8+ years in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering or related customer-facing technical role.
• Led enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design through delivery and business outcomes.
• Hands-on experience building/presenting AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, vector search and AI orchestration.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for live demonstrations in customer environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI-focused customer engagements across existing environments and new opportunities.
• Develop reusable demonstrations, technical assets, enablement programs and best-practice docs.
• Collaborate with sales teams across APJ to drive AI opportunities and customer value.
