Job summary

Our client in Sydney seeks an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the initial debt collection steps and oversee the receivables function. You will report to the CFO and Finance Manager, handling daily bank receipt processing, inquiries, reconciliation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate / Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of bank receipts and allocation to customer accounts and general ledger.
• Addressing customer inquiries and following up with internal staff.
• Reconciliation of customer accounts and distribution of ageing/AR reports.
• Provide weekly AR performance and ensure timely monthly control account reconciliation.
• Follow up overdue invoices and process customer payments in accounting systems.
• Provide ageing reports to Finance Manager on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Support ad hoc requests from Management.
