Job summary

OUP ANZ is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for a 3–4 month fixed term based in Docklands, VIC. The role covers processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and making payments in line with trading terms, supporting finance and the broader business.

Responsibilities include daily AP in SAP, vendor account maintenance, and timely responses to queries. The role requires SAP knowledge, Excel, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Sound knowledge of accounts payable function.
• Previous working experience as an accounts payable officer or as accounts officer/all-rounders.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.
• Intermediate level of MS Office (especially Excel).

Responsibilities

• AP in VIM/ICC cleared on a daily basis.
• Invoices entered in SAP to reflect Goods & Services received.
• Local and International Payments processed fortnightly in SAP with remittances emailed.
• Reconcile OUP ANZ key supplier accounts and investigate variances.
• Create & maintain Vendor Accounts in SAP.
• Maintain Vendor Accounts in SAP.
• Emails/Queries answered on the day of receipt.
• Inter Branch reconciliations completed quarterly and remittance notes prepared.
• Assist with royalty payments and statements processing as applicable.
