Job summary

Sydney Lifeline Australia is seeking an In-Shift Support – Digital – Remote Supervisor to coordinate and monitor digital service CS’s, cover breaks, and facilitate continuous improvement. The role ensures real-time support and quick escalation during high-risk interactions.

Responsibilities include debriefs, emergency interventions, and proactive guidance via MS Teams while maintaining high data accuracy and collaboration across the Lifeline network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 hours as a Lifeline Digital Services Crisis Supporter with well developed crisis support skills.
• Understanding of reflective practice and debrief techniques in Crisis Support.
• Willing to complete LLA training including coaching and ISS training.
• Education in youth work, social work, counselling, psychology or allied health (2 years post accreditation desirable).
• Ability to acquire Working with Children Check and Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide real time practice support and feedback to CS’s across Lifeline network.
• Provide initial debriefing after difficult/high-risk interactions.
• Complete emergency interventions and mandatory reporting.
• Proactively use instant messaging to support CS’s on duty.
