Job summary

CommBank in Ipswich is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist Relief to support customers across our branches. You will discuss banking needs, open accounts, and guide customers through Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.

You will provide service, complete account maintenance, process credit applications and perform Financial Health Checks to tailor solutions for clients. Travel to Goodna & Springfield may be required; you will promote in-branch tech and digital options while

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial terms clearly.
Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions and place the customer at the centre of all actions.

Responsibilities

Have in-depth conversations with customers about banking needs including Home Loans, Business Banking & Financial Advice
Assist customers with enquiries, maintenance on accounts and process applications for credit products
Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers’ financial needs and identify changes
Educate customers and demonstrate in-branch technology and digital banking options
Problem solve and provide effective solutions while following processes and risk controls
