Job summary

AEC is seeking a Release Train Engineer to support a large-scale transformation program. The role requires orchestration across policy, legislation, regulatory reform, business design, and technology delivery to achieve aligned outcomes.

The position is a 12-month contract with a 24-month extension option, located in ACT with hybrid work arrangements. Australian citizenship is mandatory, with a preference for Baseline clearance holders.

The AEC is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the delivery of a complex, large-scale transformation program.

The RTE role extends beyond traditional scaled agile delivery and requires orchestration across policy, legislation, regulatory reform, business transformation and technology delivery. The role is responsible for promoting alignment, transparency and flow across multiple workstreams and releases, while ensuring business design and delivery outcomes are translated into operational and digital capabilities that support legislative and regulatory objectives.The AEC is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the delivery of a complex, large-scale transformation program.

Role Type - 12 months contract with 24 months extension option

Location - ACT & Hybrid

Australian citizenship is mandatory ( Preference for people who already hold Baseline clearence)

• 1.1. Demonstrated experience (7+ years) leading large-scale government transformation programs.
• 2. Extensive experience operating in SAFe or comparable scaled agile delivery environments.
• 3. Proven experience in Business Design and Systems Implementation
• 4. Experience working within highly regulated government environments, including government governance and assurance requirements.
• 5. Strong stakeholder management capabilities at executive and senior executive levels.
• 6. Experience facilitating Program Increment Planning and large-scale planning events.
• 7. Demonstrated understanding of program and portfolio management disciplines.
• 8. Must have an Active AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 level clearance.
