Job summary

Origin is seeking a Content and Experience Designer to join the Customer Communications team in Melbourne. Lead compliant communications across regulation-heavy channels and shape customer-facing content for accounts, obligations and decisions.

You will balance clarity, compliance and customer care, owning end-to-end content outcomes in credit and collections while collaborating with Legal, Compliance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering compliance-heavy or regulated communications in energy, telco, finance or similar environments.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to simplify complex information without losing accuracy.
• Experience across CMS platforms and structured content environments.
• Self-directed, able to lead workstreams and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.
• Solid grounding in UX and content design principles for service and support journeys.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead content across the credit and collections portfolio, partnering with Legal, Compliance and stakeholders.
• Deliver mandatory and regulatory communications across web, email, SMS and print with accuracy and timeliness.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, customer-first content.
• Apply UX and behavioural principles to improve high-stakes journeys such as arrears and hardship.
• Ensure content meets regulatory, legal and accessibility standards including WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Prioritise and deliver content autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness and reduce inbound demand.
