You will handle vehicle registrations across Queensland and New South Wales, costing for sales and workshop orders, and general admin for the dealership.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent data-entry and computer skills.
• Experience with dealership administration or registrations is advantageous.
• Experience with DMS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicle registrations, transfers and cancellations across QLD/NSW.
• Prepare and check registration and customer delivery documents.
• Liaise with registration authorities and external parties.
• Costing and processing of vehicle sales, deliveries and workshop orders.
• Check charges for accuracy (labour, parts, fees, trade-ins).
• Reconcile invoices, deposits and payments.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in registrations and costing.
• Maintain records in the dealership management system.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting.

Hinterland Toyota is seeking a highly organised, motivated and detail-focusedRegistration & Costing Clerkto join our busy dealership team.

This is a varied administration role supporting ourSales, Service, Parts and Finance departments, with responsibility for vehicle registrations acrossQueensland and New South Wales, vehicle costing and general dealership administration.

About the Role

Working closely with our dealership teams, you will help ensure vehicle registrations, sales deals and workshop transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processingnew and used vehicle registrations, transfers and cancellations across QLD and NSW.
• Preparing and checking registration and customer delivery documentation.
• Liaising with relevant registration authorities and external parties.
• Costing and processing vehicle sales, deliveries and workshop repair orders.
• Checking labour, parts, accessories, fees, trade-ins and other charges for accuracy.
• Reconciling invoices, deposits, payments and dealership transactions.
• Identifying and resolving registration, costing and documentation discrepancies.
• Processing adjustments, credits and corrections as required.
• Maintaining accurate records and data within the dealership management system.
• Assisting with month-end processes, reporting, external audit and general administration.
• Working closely with Sales, Service, Parts and Finance teams to ensure smooth dealership operations.
• Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with dealership procedures and relevant requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previousautomotive dealership experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
• Experience in registrations, costing, accounts or administration is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and numerical skills.
• Excellent computer and data-entry skills; DMS experience is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• A positive, professional and team-focused attitude.
• The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A willingness to learn and build a career within the automotive industry.

QLD and NSW registration experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
