Anglican Care’s Bishop Tyrrell Place in Cundletown is seeking a Registered Nurse for permanent full-time or part-time roles. The position includes ward-level leadership, mentoring, and delivering person-centred care with strong teamwork and communication.

We offer an above-award hourly rate up to $59.92 plus penalty rates and allowances, with a focus on growth within the Anglican Care family and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current registration under AHPRA.
• Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement).
• National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Experience in palliative care; knowledge of AN-ACC.

Permanent Full-Time x 76hr Registered Nurse - Bishop Tyrell Place

Permanent Part Time x 32hr

We have a permanent full-time and part-time opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our Anglican Care aged care service at Bishop Tyrell Place in Cundletown.

You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person-centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

There is a variety of shifts over the fortnight.

Role & Responsibilities

• Experience in palliative care, knowledge of AN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
• Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
• Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence
