Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Brisbane is seeking a casual Registered Nurse Year 2 to provide direct nursing care at Villa Maria Eastern Height, with team leadership for care staff.

You must hold AHPRA registration, Bachelor of Nursing, and knowledge of aged care standards. Competitive hourly rate 48-60 AUD plus superannuation; not-for-profit employer with values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process and health issues.
• Strong coaching/training skills.
• Effective conflict resolution skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Competent IT skills.
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

• Casual position - Must be RN Year 2


• Pay rate - $48 - $60 per hour + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Care Manager at Villa Maria Eastern Height, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

About the Role
