Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is recruiting for a casual nursing role in New South Wales, offering hourly pay of 40.00–45.40 AUD plus superannuation. The role involves direct clinical nursing care with a person-centred approach within an aged care home and requires current AHPRA registration after completing a Diploma of Nursing.

You will support a multidisciplinary team, follow all policies, and demonstrate strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar.
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Strong coaching/training skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
• Good coaching/training skills
• Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Strong customer-centric approach to business
• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
