Job summary

NSW Health in Ryde Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join Ward 6 (surgical and orthopaedics) on a temporary part-time basis. You’ll work with a supportive team, with education opportunities and a dedicated learning pathway to develop your specialty.

This role offers a 24-hour per week schedule, hourly remuneration between 41.23 and 57.88, and the chance to contribute to a major hospital redevelopment. Temporary until 16 January 2028 with potential ongoing employment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Division 1 status and AHPRA registration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current clinical knowledge and ability to solve problems.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, caring and passionate registered nurse to join Ryde Hospital on a temporary part time basis. You will be working in Ward 6 which is a 19 bed ward consisting of surgical and orthopaedics patients. You will be working with a supportive team and there are education and training opportunities, as well as a dedicated learning pathway for the speciality.

Ryde Hospital is havingan incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.

The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.

Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
