Job summary

Pathways Residences is seeking a Registered Nurse for our new Longueville, NSW residence. You will respond to wounds, falls, administer medications, and lead a small team of PCWs with additional night shift duties as required.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus, allowances (uniform, laundry, in-charge), 17% annual leave loading, and paid training with mentorship by Care Managers. Grow into senior roles in a 5-star aged care facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care/geriatrics required.
• Knowledge of accreditation processes and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Able to manage PCWs and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Registered Nurse duties including wound care, falls assessment, and medication administration.
• Lead PCWs and ensure high-quality resident care.
• Night shift duties as required and ensure compliance with standards.

About you:

• Passionate about delivering quality care to our older Australians
• Experience in aged care/geriatrics required
• Knowledge and understanding of: accreditation processes, codes of conduct, WHS, Infection Control, Compliance Management, SIRS Reporting, Restrictive Practices, and the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Able to manage a small team of PCWs, be computer literate, and have sound verbal and written communication abilities
• Analytical, a problem solver, and friendly to work with

A few requirements of the role :

• Relevant experience and qualification in nursing + AHPRA registration
• Right to work in Australia + 100 Points of ID
